Thanks to the HUBBOX Connect X1 and X2 series industrial routers, you can securely access these PLCs directly via the USB port, moving your legacy systems to the cloud without the need for costly hardware upgrades.

The Edge Computing Advantage with Hubbox X2: Unlike classical methods, the built-in Node-RED infrastructure inside the HUBBOX Connect X2 device processes, filters, and converts the data read from the PLC's USB port into lightweight protocols like MQTT directly at the edge, long before sending it to the cloud.

Traditional Remote Connection: Requires external Ethernet modules or complex converters. Since raw data is transferred without being processed locally, bandwidth consumption and latency are very high.

HUBBOX Edge (X1/X2) Access: Direct Plug-and-Play USB integration. Program the PLC remotely as if connected by a local cable with the Connect X1, and process data locally (Edge Computing) using the Connect X2.
